Post-Translational Modification with Microarrays including Ubiquitin Enzymes and Linkers

Post-Translation Modification plays a pivotal role in cancer.

Post-Translation Modification plays a pivotal role in cancer. Post-translation modifications (PTMs) refer to the chemical changes' proteins undergo after their synthesis. These modifications, such as phosphorylation, ubiquitination, and methylation, can alter protein function, stability, and interactions. In cancer research, PTMs are crucial because they can activate or deactivate oncogenes and tumour suppressor genes, influencing cancer progression and response to treatment. For instance, aberrant phosphorylation of signalling proteins can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and survival, hallmark traits of cancer.

2BScientific Limited  works closely with reputable suppliers to study PTM changes. For PTMs, they provide antibodies, detection kits/assays, enzymes and PTM microarrays from Ray Biotech and LifeSensors. These tools enable researchers to explore the dynamic and complex nature of cellular regulations.

RayBiotechRayBiotech

For PTMs, RayBiotech significantly contributes towards offering a range of PTM array systems. They are powerful tools that can screen up to 8,000 target proteins for various PTMs, including phosphorylation, glycosylation, acetylation, without the burden of long hours of western blot analysis.

LifeSensors

LifeSensors

LifeSensors have the expertise in Ubiquitin and Ubiquitin chains, therefore offering a range of antibodies, enzymes, chains/linkages and assay kits that are directed towards proteins modified by ubiquitylation. The range of products that can be useful are:

  • Tandem Ubiquitin Binding Entities  (TUBE) to enhance Mass Spec reading by using tubes that have technology to specifically isolate polyubiquitylated proteins from cell lysates and tissues. Most cost effective than using antibody-based ubiquitin proteomics.
  • Variety of novel fluorescent-based Deubiquitylases (DUB) assays, including  K-48 and K-63 Ubiquitin Linkage Elisa Kits.
  • Range of Ubiquitin antibodies like Ubiquitin K6R, K11R,K48R , K63R and many more.
