- Cell Lysis Buffer is used to lyse cells under non-denaturing conditions. If recommended add 1 mM PMSF or other protease inhibitor immediately before use. Keep all reagents and lysates in ice. For adherent cells add 400uL of buffer per 10cm flask once they have been washed in 1X PBS. For suspended cells add 400 uL of buffer per million cells once they have been washed in 1X PBS and pelleted. For tissue lysates add 20uL of buffer per 1mg of tissue followed by homogenization and sonication.

- This product was aseptically filtered through a Millipore 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers. The product was tested on trypticase soy agar for 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours and was found to be negative for bacteria.
