- Rabbit "C" (5-6 lbs.) Complement was prepared by removal of fibrinogen through clot formation under proper temperature conditions. Rabbit "C" Complement was then purified through temperature-controlled centrifugation and filtration. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in multiple precipitin arcs against anti-Rabbit Serum.
