Anti-Goat IgG F(ab')2 Antibody generated in rabbit is a proteolytic fragment of immunoglobulin G (IgG) obtained by limited digestion with the enzyme pepsin under controlled conditions of temperature, time and pH. F(ab')2 molecules lack the Fc portion of IgG and therefore receptors that bind goat IgG F(c) will not bind goat IgG F(ab')2 molecules.

IgG F(ab')2|This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Goat IgG coupled to agarose beads. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum, Goat IgG, Goat IgG F(ab')2 and Goat Serum. No reaction was observed against Goat IgG F(c).

ELISA Results of Rabbit Anti-Goat IgG F(ab')2 Antibody tested against purified Goat IgG F(ab')2. Each well was coated in duplicate with 1.0 ug of Goat IgG (p/n 005-0102) [Green Line] and Goat IgG F(ab')2 (p/n 005-0104) [Purple Line]. The working dilution is 1:38,000. The starting dilution of antibody was 5ug/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using HRP Conjugate Stabilizer (p/n MB-076) Donkey Anti-Goat IgG HRP conjugated (p/n 605-703-125) and TMB substrate (p/n TMBE-1000).
