- Extra Details:
- STK31 is a serine/threonine protein kinase that contains a tudor domain found in RNA-interacting proteins, and a coiled-coil domain. Tudor domains are found in many eukaryotic organisms and have been implicated in protein-protein interactions in which methylated protein substrates bind to these domains. The STK31 gene is conserved across many species and was originally identified as a gene expressed in mouse spermatogonia but not in somatic tissues (1). STK31 has been shown to be specifically expressed in the human testis. STK31 Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Proteins, Cellular Proteins, Cardiovascular Disease, ERK/MAPK Pathway, Neurobiology, PKA/PKC Pathway, and Ser/Thr Kinases research.
