At 2BScientific, we see high uptake of Cell Biolabs’ CytoSelect™ brand of cell-based assays, all of which provide fully quantitative results with no need for manual cell counting. Research areas covered by CytoSelect include cell adhesion, contraction, transformation and cell health, as well as cell migration, invasion and wound healing. Additional CytoSelect assays are available for angiogenesis, phagocytosis and stem cell research, with many new cell-based assays also under development.
One of our best-selling Cell Biolabs products is the QuickTiter™ HBV Core Antigen (HBVcAg) ELISA Kit, an enzyme immunoassay intended to detect the Hepatitis B virus. This uses an anti-HBVcAg monoclonal antibody for antigen capture, followed by detection with a FITC-conjugated anti-HBVcAg antibody and an HRP-conjugated anti-FITC antibody to achieve a detection sensitivity limit of 1 ng /mL. We often see customers who have initially chosen to buy the 96-assay format returning to us for a subsequent purchase of the 5 x 96-assay since this offers a significant cost saving.
