- Extra Details:
- Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF-a) is a potent immunomodulator and proinflammatory cytokine. The secreted form of TNF-a is 17kD while the membrane form (mTNF-a) has a molecular weight of 26kD. Secreted TNF-a appears to be generated from the precursor mTNF-a. 1 Membrane TNF-a has been described on the surface of monocytes and activated T lymphocytes. This anti-TNF-a monoclonal antibody recognizes mTNF-a transfected into a cell line, and is designed for use as a flow cytometry reagent. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
