- Single chain mouse tPA has the active site serine mutated to alanine rendering the enzyme catalytically inactive. The tPA still retains exosite binding as well as other biological properties of tPA including but not limited to surface binding to fibrinogen. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human tPA expressed in insect cell culture. Molecular Weight: ~70kD Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
