- Extra Details:
- Tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA) is tissue specific for activation of plasminogen. The kingle-2 domain of tPA reacts with lysine residues on the fibrin forming an activated complex. tPA is a single chain molecule that is cleaved to the active two-chain form by the action of the plamin pathway. tPA primarily exists coupled to PAI-1 in circulation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:100,000 Western Blot: 1:10,000 Optimum dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
