- Serpin I1, also known as neuroserpin, is a secreted serine protease inhibitor predominantly expressed in the brain. Serpin I1 defects cause familial encephalopathy with neuroserpin inclusion bodies (FEN1B), an autosomal dominant dementia. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
