- Extra Details:
- PP2A, also known as PPP2CA and PP2CA, is a serine/threonine phosphatase. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml with immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human normal liver, normal small intestine, and colon cancer tissue. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- Host:
- Rat
- Immunogen:
- E. coli-derived recombinant protein corresponding to Trp209-Leu309 from human PP2A-alpha catalytic subunit.
- Isotype:
- IgG2b
- Physical State:
- Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.
- Purity:
- Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
- Shipping Conditions:
- Blue Ice
- Specificity:
- Recognizes human PP2A. Because PP2A-alpha and PP2A-beta catalytic subunits are identical in the region used for the antigen, it is expected that both isoforms will be detected by the antibody.
