- Placental Growth Factor (PlGF) is a member of the VEGF family of growth factors, and it binds with high-affinity to VEGF R1. As a result of alternative splicing, three human PlGF mRNAs encode PlGF-1 (PlGF Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/mL Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
