- PARK 7, also known as DJ-1 is a highly conserved cytoplasmatic protein and acts as a positive regulator of androgen receptor-dependent transcription. The expression of PARK 7 is induced by growth signals, and it is translocated from the cytoplasm to nucleous during S-phase of the cell cycle. PARK 7 also may fuction as redox-sensitive chaperone and as sensor for oxidative stress. Mutations in PARK 7 are associated with the autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson's disease. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
