- Human papilloma virus is non-enveloped double stranded circular DNA virus with icosahedral capsid. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: mmunohistochemistry (Formalin/Paraffin): 1:20 for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Infected cells and tissue Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
