Enolases are homo- or heterodimers of the three subunits: alpha, 46kD, beta, 44kD, and gamma, 46kD. The alpha-subunit is expressed in most tissues and the beta-subunit only in muscle. The gamma subunit is expressed primarily in neurons, in normal and in neoplastic neuroendocrine cells. Coexpression of NSE and chromogranin A is common in neuroendocrine neoplasms. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300 (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded sections). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair for ELISA: Capture: Conjugate: N2175-09 N2175-06 N2175-06 N2175-09 Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
