- Extra Details:
- Neurofibromin is a product of the tumor suppressor gene, Neurofibromatosis type I. Neurofibromin is known to have GTPase activity that modulates the ras pathway. The absence of or alteration of the neurofibromin protein may lead to Neurofibromatosis disease. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin), and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 10-20ug/ml (paraffin sections). Antigen retrieval with trypsin or citrate improves immunostaining of paraffin sections. Antigen retrieval is not required for immunostaining of frozen sections. Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
