- mGluR6 displays the highest sequence similarity to mGluR4 among the metabotropic receptor subtypes and inhibits the forskolin-stimulated cyclic AMP accumulation in CHO cells transfected with the cloned cDNA. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000; Recognizes a band at ~96kD. Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:100-1:500 Neurons of expected mouse brain regions stain well. Staining is not recommended for human or rat tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
