About this Product
- SKU:
- M1201
- Extra Details:
- Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (M-CSF) is produced by various cell types, including fibroblasts, macrophages and endothelial cells. This colonly stimulating factor is involved in both the development and function of monocytes/macropahges. Human M-CSF is a disulfide-linked homodimer composed of 18.4kD subunits of 158 amino acid residues. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of murine M-NFS-60 cells is ≤1ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥1x10e6 units/mg. . Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
