About this Product
- SKU:
- L3150-09Q
- Extra Details:
- EG13909, also known as Es-31, is a carboxylesterase-like enzyme identified in mouse liver. It belongs to the type B carboxylesterase/lipase superfamily that hydrolyzes the carboxylic ester bonds. By sequence analysis it is most closely related to mouse CES-3 and is likely to be a microsomal enzyme. It has been suggested that EG13909 is expressed predominantly in male livers and might be regulated by growth hormone. Source: Murine myeloma cell line, NS0-derived Met1-Glu558, with a C-terminal 10-His tag. Activity: Measured by its esterase activity. Specific activity: ≥750 pmoles/min/ug Endotoxin Level: ≤1EU/1ug (LAL) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
