Laminin is a major component of basement membranes and stimulates neurite outgrowth, promotes cell attachment, chemotaxis and cell differentation. Promotes the adhesion and growth of human carcinoma and sarcoma cells, human retinoblastoma cells, liver cells, mouse neuroblastoma cells, mouse embryonal carcinoma cells, and seems to be involved in the development of embryonal tissue. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:10 incubating for 1 hour at RT. Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:10 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
