- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Neutralization, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml. Using 100ul/well antibody solution. When used in conjunction with K0201-01B, as a detection antibody allows the detectin of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human KGF. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 0.5ug/ml, overnight at 4°C. This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of normal human skin. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a non-alcohol soluble AEC chromogen and a proteinase K antigen retrieval. Neutralization: 8.0ug/ml yeilds one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human KGF (18.9ng/ml). Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
