Extra Details:
IL-17R, also known as IL-17RA, is a widely expressed 120kD glycosylated type I protein that plays a central role in inflammatory responses. IL-17R associates with IL-17RC to form a signaling receptor complex for IL-17 and IL-17F. IL-17R ligation promotes T cell activation and the production of IL-6, G-CSF, SCF, and multiple proinflammatory chemokines. Within the ECD, human IL-17R shares 72% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat IL-17R. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (Capture): 2-8ug/ml. Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
