- Extra Details:
- Interleukin 17B receptor (IL-17B R) is the second identified receptor for the IL-17 family of cytokines. IL-17B R binds strongly to IL-17E and binds weakly to IL-17B, but does not bind IL-17, IL-17C or IL-17F. It is a transmembrane protein expressed in a wide variety of tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Capture): 2-8ug/ml using I8439-20L (Interleukin 17B (Biotin)) as the detection antibody. Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit is ~25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5-50 fold. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
