- Extra Details:
- GITR Ligand/TNFSF18, also known as AITRL and TL6, is a type II transmembrane protein in the TNF ligand superfamily. GITR Ligand expression on endothelial cells and antigen presenting cells is upregulated following LPS stimulation or viral infection. It binds to GITR/TNFRSF18 and modulates T cell-mediated tolerance and immunity in peripheral tissues. Within the ECD, mouse and human GITR Ligand share 56% amino acid sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
