- Extra Details:
- GD3 has been identified as tumor-associated antigens expressed on the surface of neuroectoderm-derived tumors (melanoma, neuroblastoma and glioma) and T-cell leukemia. Gangliosides (sialic acid-containing glycosphingolipids) are normal membrane constituents and highly expressed in the vertebral central nervous system. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1-2ug/ml per 10e6 cells. Lysis of GD3 positive (melanoma) cells in presence of complement. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen tissue sections Immunofluorescence: Cells in culture Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
