- GD2 has been identified as tumor-associated antigens expressed on the surface of neuroectoderm-derived tumors (melanoma, neuroblastoma and glioma) and T-cell leukemia. Gangliosides (sialic acid-containing glycosphingolipids) are normal membrane constituents and highly expressed in the vertebral central nervous system. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Cytotoxicity. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1-2ug per 10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: Frozen tissue sections Immunofluorescence (IC): Cells in culture Cytotoxicity: GD2 positive cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
