- Extra Details:
- Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a small fluoresent molecule that is commonly conjugated to antibodies for immunofluorescent cell labeling. In conjunction with anti-FITC antibodies, it can also be used as an epitope tag for detection and signal amplification. Applications: Suitable for use in the detection of FITC labeled antigens and antibodies, as a capture antibody for FITC labeled bioploymers, FLISA, and as a second enzyme for Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Hybridization of SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Affinity Constant: 1.5 x 10e-8 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
