Extra Details:
Human D-dimer (DD), a specific degradation product of cross-linked fibrin, is released into the bloodstream during clot breakdown. It is used as an indicator of a blood clots, venous thromboses or pulmonary embolisms. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Sandwich ELISA: Plasma samples should be diluted with 10mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH 7.5, 1M sodium chloride, 0.1% Tween 20. To avoid non-specific binding, the final sodium chloride concentration in plasma samples should be ≥ 0.5M. Western Blot: Non-reducing Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hydridoma: Hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
