3G116
Clonality:
Monoclonal
Extra Details:
Cyclin E is a cell cycle protein, 50kD, that complexes with cdk2 and is required for DNA synthesis. Cyclin E/cdk2 activity peaks just before S phase. Cyclin E expression is mediated by E2F and is cleared by the ubiquitin proteolytic pathway after phosphorylation. Alterations in cyclin E expression in cancer has been correlated with increasing stage and grade of tumor. These results suggest that cyclin E may be useful as a prognostic marker for breast cancer and gastric cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Gel Mobility Shift Assay. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
