Extra Details:
CXCR4, also known as fusin, is a 7TM G protein-linked chemokine receptor. CXCR4 is expressed on B cells, monocytes, CD4 + T cells, colonic epithelial cells, and astrocytes and binds SDF-1/CXCL12. CXCR4 is upregulated on mammary tumors. CXCR4, in cooperation with CD134 and heparan sulfate proteoglycans, functions as a co-receptor for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) entry into cells. Feline CXCR4 shares 97%, 95%, 88%, and 90% aa sequence identity with canine, human, mouse, and rat CXCR4, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 25ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
