- This antibody represents an excellent marker for all forms of intercellular adhering junctions. The epitope maps within the C-terminus at the extreme end of repeat 13 (aa 632-687) of plakoglobin [identical to gamma-catenin]. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunocytochemistry (IC-IF): 1:5 Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:25-1:100 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:25-1:100 (microwave treatment recommended) Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
