About this Product
- SKU:
- C1036-78D
- Application:
- Western Blot
- Clonality:
- Polyclonal
- Extra Details:
- The calcium/calmodulin (CaM) kinase signaling cascade includes the upstream kinases CaM kinase kinase a (CaMKKa; also known as CaMKK1) and CaMKKb (CaMKK2), and their substrates, the output kinases CaMKI and CaMKIV. Largely by activation of the transcription factor CREB, the CaM kinase cascade is implicated in neuronal development and long-term memory formation. In addition, CaMKKa is known to modulate skeletal muscle glucose uptake, and is upregulated during retinoic acid-induced neutrophil maturation. Application: Suitable for use in Western blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
