Extra Details:
B3GNT1 is a 50kD member of the b3GnT family of enzymes. It is synthesized by sensory neurons, endothelial cells and skeletal muscle. In the trans-Golgi, it collaborates with B4GALT1 to generate a linear poly-N-acetyllactosamine sequence that can be incorporated into either N-linked or O-linked glycans. Human B3GNT1 is a 451aa type II transmembrane protein. It contains an 8aa N-terminal cytoplasmic segment, an extended 28aa transmembrane region aa9-36, and a 379aa luminal domain aa37-415. Over aa37-415, human B3GNT1 shares 97% aa identity with mouse B3GNT1. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
