- Extra Details:
- Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a small virus which infects humans and some other primate species. AAV is not currently known to cause disease and consequently the virus causes a very mild immune response. AAV can infect both dividing and non-dividing cells and may incorporate its genome into that of the host cell. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Not suitable for Immunoblotting. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:20 Immunoprecipitation: 1:5 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
