Extra Details:
IL23 p40 and p19, also known as interleukin-12 subunit beta/interleukin-23 subunit alpha, is a heterodimeric cytokine composed of two disulfide-linked subunit, a p19 subunit that is unique to IL23, and a p40 subunit that is shared with IL12. The p19 subunit has homology to the p35 subunit of IL12, as well as to other single chain sytokines sub as IL6 and IL11. It is produced by macrophages and B lymphocytes and has multiple effects on T-cells and NK cells, including stimulation of cytotoxic activity, proliferation, and promotion of Th1 development as well as IFN-gamma and TNF production. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa23-328 (IL12B) / aa20-189 (IL23A) from human IL23 p40, p19, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~34.6kD (IL12B) & 19.5kD (IL23A) (306aa & 176aa) The heterodimeric IL23 p40, p19 has a predicted molecular weight of ~54.1kD Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher. Endotoxin: <1EU/1ug (determined by LAL method) Amino Acid Sequence: IL12B: IWELKKDVYV VELDWYPDAP GEMVVLTCDT PEEDGITWTL DQSSEVLGSG KTLTIQVKEF GDAGQYTCHK GGEVLSHSLL LLHKKEDGIW STDILKDQKE PKNKTFLRCE AKNYSGRFTC WWLTTISTDL TFSVKSSRGS SDPQGVTCGA ATLSAERVRG DNKEYEYSVE CQEDSACPAA EESLPIEVMV DAVHKLKYEN YTSSFFIRDI IKPDPPKNLQ LKPLKNSRQV EVSWEYPDTW STPHSYFSLT FCVQVQGKSK REKKDRVFTD KTSATVICRK NASISVRAQD RYYSSSWSEW ASVPCS IL23A: RAVPGGSSPA WTQCQQLSQK LCTLAWSAHP LVGHMDLREE GDEETTNDVP HIQCGDGCDP QGLRDNSQFC LQRIHQGLIF YEKLLGSDIF TGEPSLLPDS PVGQLHASLL GLSQLLQPEG HHWETQQIPS LSPSQPWQRL LLRFKILRSL QAFVAVAARV FAHGAATLSP HHHHHH Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
