- This BioAssay™ employs the indirect competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique for the in vitro quantitative determination of Sulfathiazole concentrations in chicken, liver, honey, milk, egg, urine, serum, pork, and other samples. Sensitivity: 0.4ppb Range: 0.4-32.4ppb. The standard curve concentrations used for the ELISA’s were 32.4ppb, 10.8ppb, 3.6ppb, 1.2ppb, 0.4ppb, 0ppb. Precision: Intra-assay: CV%<10% Inter-assay: CV%<10% Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the indirect competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The coupling antigen is pre-coated on the micro-well stripes.(A Sulfathiazole conjugate has been pre-coated onto a microplate) Then the Sulfathiazole in the sample and the coupling antigen pre-coated on the micro-well stripes compete for the anti-Sulfathiazole antibody. After the addition of the enzyme conjugate, the TMB substrate is added for coloration. The optical density (OD) value of the sample has a negative correlation with the Sulfathiazole in the sample. This (OD) value is compared to the standard curve and the Sulfathiazole concentration is subsequently obtained. Kit Components: Assay plate, 1x96T Standard, 6x1ml HRP-conjugate, 1x7ml Antibody, 1x10ml Substrate A, 1x7ml Substrate B, 1x7ml Stop Solution, 1x7ml Wash Buffer, 2x20ml (20Xconcentrate) Redissolving Solution, 3x15ml (2Xconcentrate) Storage and Stability: Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
