- The Malachite Green (MG) ELISA BioAssay™ Kitt is a competitive ELISA intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Malachite Green concentrations in fish and shrimp. Sensitivity: 0.05ppb Range: 0.05- 4.05ppb Precision: Intra-assay: CV%<10% Inter-assay: CV%<10% Test Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this has been pre-coated with Malachite Green antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Malachite Green specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Malachite Green and Malachite Green in standards or samples with the Malachite Green special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Malachite Green in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
