- Extra Details:
- Prss22, also known as brain-specific serine protease 4, is identified brain-specific expression gene. Brain-specific serine protease 4(BSSP-4) and brain serine protease 2 (BSP-2) are different names given for the same serine protease that is encoded by the Prss22 gene. This protein is preferentially expressed in epithelium-rich tissues such as the lung and eye. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa33-307 from mouse Prss22, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~31.1kD (283aa) 28-40KD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
