- Extra Details:
- Leucine-rich repeat transmembrane protein FLRT2 is a member of the fibronectin leucine rich transmembrane protein (FLRT) family. FLRT family members may function in cell adhesion and/or receptor signalling. Their protein structures resemble small leucine-rich proteoglycans found in the extracellular matrix. The full-length FLRT2 coding sequence encodes a predicted 660aa protein containing a putative N-terminal signal sequence, 10 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs) flanked by N- and C-terminal cysteine-rich regions, a fibronectin-/collagen-like domain, a transmembrane domain, and an intracellular C-terminal tail. FLRT2 has 5 potential N-glycosylation sites in its extracellular region. FLRT2 shares 44% aa sequence identity with FLRT3 and 41% identity with FLRT1. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
