- Control Peptide for N2177-25G. Neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1) belongs to the large superfamily of G-protein coupled receptors. NTSR1 mediates the multiple functions of neurotensin, such as hypotension, hyperglycemia, hypothermia, antinociception, and regulation of intestinal motility and secretion. NTR1 has been reported in brain, pancreas, and small intestine. ESTs have been isolated from brain and colon libraries. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to TVGTHNGLEHSTFNMTIEPGRVQAYC from rat Neurotensin Receptor 1. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
