- Extra Details:
- TBC1 (tre-2/uSP6, BuB2, cdc16) domain family, member 1, also known as TBC1D1, may act as a GTPase-activating protein for Rab family protein(s). This protein may play a role in the cell cycle and differentiation of various tissues. This protein is involved in the trafficking and translocation of GLuT4-containing vesicles and insulin-stimulated glucose uptake into cells. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-265 from human TBC1D1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~33.2kD (288aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
