About this Product
SKU:

Extra Details:
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. RPL18A is a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. This protein belongs to the L18AE family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. RPL18A is co-transcribed with the u68 snoRNA, which is located in its third intron. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-176 from human RPL18A, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~23.2kD (199aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
