- Extra Details:
- EXOSC4, also known as fetuin-A, belongs to the fetuin class of plasma binding proteins. It is involved in several functions, such as endocytosis, brain development and the formation of bone tissue. It is commonly present in the cortical plate of the immature cerebral cortex and bone marrow hemopoietic matrix, and it has been postulated that it participates in the development of the tissues. It forms soluble complexes with calcium and phosphate and thus is a carrier of otherwise insoluble calcium phosphate. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-245 from human EXOSC4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~28.8kD (268aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
