- Extra Details:
- ACPP, also known as Acid phosphatase, prostate. ACPP is a non-specific tyrosine phosphatase that dephosphorylates a diverse number of ubstrates under acidic conditions (pH 4-6) including alkyl, aryl, and acyl orthophosphate monoesters and phosphorylated proteins. It has lipid phosphatase activity and inactivates lysophosphatidic acid in seminal plasma. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa33-386 from human ACPP, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~43.2kD (375aa) Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
