- Extra Details:
- Wnt-1, formerly known as int-1, is a 343 amino acid non-glycosylated secreted protein associated with the extracellular matrix, involved in normal embryonic development and particularly linked with breast cancer. Wnt-1, which signals through binding to the Frizzled family of transmembrane receptors, was originally identified as a proto-oncogene implicated in carcinomas induced by the mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV). Wnt-1 belongs to a family of Wnt genes involved in the dorso-ventricular development of the mesoderm during embryogenesis, with a restricted temporal and spatial pattern of expression. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.5-2.0ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
