- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. CD25, the chicken IL-2 Receptor alpha chain (IL-2Ra) which has been identified as the chicken homologue of human CD25 and is cited as ChCD25 in published literature. Chicken IL-2Ra is a cell surface expressed by activated T-lymphocytes, monocytes/macrophages and thrombocytes. Studies have demonstrated that CD4+ve/CD25+ve and CD8+ve/CD25+ve cells are up- regulated following infection with avian influenza virus (H9N2) and may therefore have an important role in the immune response to avian influenza virus infection . Chicken IL-2Ra is the low affinity receptor for Interleukin-2. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 AG14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
