- Many breast, pancreatic, colonic and non-small-cell lung carcinoma lines express CEACAM6 and CEACAM5, and antibodies to both can affect tumor cell growth in vitro and in vivo. CEACAM6 expression is elevated in many solid tumors, but variable as a function of histotype. It may be a promising target for antibody-based therapy. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1.25ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
