- Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry
- Clonality:
- Polyclonal
- Extra Details:
- Calcium ions play a primary role in the regulation of sperm motility. Anti-CATSPER2 belongs to a family of putative cation channels that are specific to spermatozoa and localize to the flagellum. The protein family features a single repeat with six membrane-spanning segments and a predicted calcium-selective pore region. A second, closely linked copy of this gene has been identified. Although multiple transcript variants encoding protein isoforms have been characterized, they seem to be only transcribed from this gene. Additional splice variants have been described but their full-length nature has not been determined. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1.25ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
