- Extra Details:
- SESN2 is a member of the sestrin family of PA26-related proteins. The protein may function in the regulation of cell growth and survival. This protein may be involved in cellular response to different stress conditions. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-480 from human Sestrin2, fused to FLAG-tag at N-terminal, expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system. Uniprot/Accession: NM_031459. Molecular Weight: ~55kD Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
