- Extra Details:
- KIR is a family of immunoglobulin-like receptors expressed on NK cells and some T cells. Family members with long (L) cytoplasmic tails deliver inhibitory signals and those with short (S) cytoplasmic tails deliver activating signals. Several KIR proteins are known to recognize particular alleles of MHC class I proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 0.1ug/10e6 cells. Tested with human peripheral blood CD56+ natural killer cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
